Problem Solved – The client was unable to understand what architecture was appropriate to meet their future platform requirements. This was compounded by the fact that project delivery followed the more traditional approach as opposed to utilizing the benefits of Agile.
A large Multi-National Aluminum and Titanium Stock Holding organisation was operating on legacy technology. They required help in defining their business model and in understanding which route would be best for them; whether they could modernise the current estate, re-implement on a new architecture or move to a completely new platform including the consideration of software as a service or Cloud.
The initial phase was to undertake a discovery piece of consultancy and then to apply these findings via a three stage workshop process of confirming the business model, defining the Architecture options and then submitting the defined design with a statement of work and bill of materials.
